Mobile noise barrier for flexible protection
A mobile noise barrier is the ideal solution when noise sources are not permanently located in the same place or when workplaces need to be flexibly shielded. In many production halls, workshops, or laboratories, layouts, machine positions, and work areas change regularly. Our mobile noise barriers on casters adapt to these changes – without costly modifications, without alterations to the building structure, and with an immediately noticeable reduction in noise.
Our stationary noise barriers are also a good option for long-term planning.

Minimum ground clearance
The special design of our trolleys ensures a minimal gap between the floor and the soundproofing elements. This prevents sound from spreading under the wall.
Acoustics and optics
The panels' two different surface finishes ensure maximum functionality. The perforated side absorbs sound, while the smooth side provides an attractive appearance.
Maximum comfort
Four smooth-running swivel casters with locking brakes ensure easy handling. Even in tight spaces, the walls remain flexible and easy to move.
Dense alignment
The flush fit between the panel and the carriage allows for seamless installation. Multiple walls can thus be placed side-by-side without any gaps.
L shape
Two freely selectable wall lengths create a flexible solution at a 90° angle. The L-shape can be used individually and extended as needed.
U-shape
The three-sided arrangement achieves a particularly high level of sound insulation. Workplaces can thus be effectively shielded and better protected.

What level of sound insulation do GEMAtech's mobile noise barriers achieve?
The achievable sound insulation level always depends on the specific conditions, such as the type and amount of background noise, the building height, and the relevant frequencies in the room. In practice, the expected sound insulation level of our mobile noise barriers is up to 30 dB, depending on the panel thickness and arrangement.
Can I also set up the mobile walls at a corner?
Yes, that's easily possible. We can mount the trolleys in an offset configuration so that you can erect the walls to their maximum possible length. This allows for seamless rows around corners as well as complete U-shapes.
How wide are the carriages?
The trolleys extend approximately 500 mm beyond the actual soundproof panel on both the left and right sides. You should take this width into account when planning the installation and passage widths. If you do not want to allow for additional space for trolleys, our stationary soundproof wall offers an alternative . It is positioned freely in the room, firmly anchored in the floor, and requires no additional space around it for trolleys.
Are there mobile noise barriers available for testing?
Yes, we have several mobile noise barriers available for testing. You can usually test them in use for a period of two weeks. Just ask us about current testing opportunities.
No casters needed?
Stationary noise barriers are particularly suitable for permanently demarcated areas and for the targeted shielding of individual zones. The modules are permanently mounted in the ground, require no additional steel structure or carriages, and therefore often represent a more cost-effective alternative to mobile solutions.
They impress with their high sound insulation performance, robust construction, and versatile combination options. The elements can be disassembled and reassembled as needed and are ideally suited for structured hall layouts, low-noise workplaces, and permanent room-within-a-room concepts.
