Extraction systems for the processing of plastics
Where to dispose of plastic shavings and dust?
The extraction of plastic dust and chips using efficient extraction and filtration systems plays a crucial role in plastics processing. High-quality processing of plastic and acrylic materials can only be achieved if the work area is free of chips and residual material. Dust deposits in production machines can lead to premature wear and reduce the machines' lifespan, which can be minimized by extracting the resulting plastic particles. Filtration systems are also of great importance for occupational safety and employee health, as well as for complying with environmental regulations.

DO YOU HAVE A SPECIAL REQUIREMENT?
Which plastics can be vacuumed?
Plastics and composite materials such as carbon, acrylic, polystyrene, carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP), glass fiber reinforced plastics (GFRP), Plexiglas, rubber, Ureol™ and similar materials from mold making and other materials that correspond at most to dust explosion class St1.
Why is a plastic extraction system useful?
The extraction of plastic particles in plastics processing using suitable and efficient filter systems is of great importance for occupational safety, product quality, fire protection, machine lifespan and environmental protection.
- Occupational safety through extraction systems: Plastics can release harmful substances such as fine dust or fumes during processing, which can lead to health problems such as allergic reactions and respiratory issues. An efficient extraction system ensures that these pollutants are removed from the air, thus protecting the health of your employees and complying with occupational safety regulations.
- Fire protection and extraction: Extraction systems are essential to reduce the risk of fires and explosions, as various plastic dusts are highly flammable. By reducing the amount of combustible dust in the air, extraction contributes to workplace safety.
- Product quality thanks to filter systems: Filtration systems are essential for ensuring high-quality plastic products. They prevent dust and shavings from contaminating the production environment and causing defects or surface flaws. Thus, extraction significantly contributes to improving product quality.
- Machine lifespan increased by extraction: Extracting plastic particles helps extend the lifespan of production machinery. An extraction system creates a clean working environment, thereby minimizing wear, reducing the need for maintenance, and thus increasing the machines' service life.
- Environmental protection through extraction systems: Filter systems play a central role in reducing the release of plastic particles into the air and the environment more generally. This is crucial for complying with environmental regulations and minimizing negative environmental impacts.
Where should the extracted material be put?
Chips, dust, and residual material can occupy an enormous volume. Whether disposal or reuse of the extracted material – our filter systems are available with chip discharge systems such as collection containers, briquetting presses, rotary valves, and in many other variations.
